Description
Explore different yarn dying techniques with Sarah Klobe.
Class participants will learn ways to add complexity and richness to your hand-dyed colourways. Exploring a variety of dye application techniques and create your own layered hand-dyed yarns full of depth and interest.
Sarah will explain dyeing best practices, how to troubleshoot slip-ups, where to find color inspiration and how to start mastering this fun, rewarding technique. By the end of class, you'll have created a beautifully dyed yarn to take home.
Sarah will also explain the process of fleece to yarn and demonstrate the spinning process.
This hands on and highly informative workshop will greatly increase your knowledge of dyes.
Class participant will will leave with their own dyed yarn, and informative class notes.
Instructor will provide all dyes, yarns and dye equipment.
