Description

Sadly - Autumn 2017 has passed and it was a ripper season for the shrooms.  We have pigged out on a variety of types done many different ways - (pulled pork and slipperies was particularly good).  Autumn is a great time for foraging. We show you the basics in mushroom identification.  Fungi is an amazing area of biology and when done safely, can be amazing eating too.  Join us for some fun in the field exploring the great big outdoor supermarket!

Get on the list for spring - we'll be getting going again soon.

We'll be meeting at HIRL and convoying it out to forage.  So bring a vehicle or better still car pool.

What To Bring

  • Sturdy footwear e.g. rubber boots
